The Penis Envy magic mushroom strain (P.E.) is colloquially known as the most potent Psilocybe cubensis shroom variety. It's theorized that this mushroom strain was first isolated by legendary entheomycologist Terrence Mckenna, and extensively isolated over several years to create a significantly higher potency genetic.

It effects include vivid visual stimulation, intense feelings of euphoria, and deep introspection/philosophical thought.

Its charasteristics consist of large dense stalks with an underdeveloped pale cap, somewhat resembling a phallic object. PE mushrooms drop very few spores and therefore are difficult to propagate/cultivate. This, along with increased potency makes them a rare and desirable strain.

Another notable distinction that separates Penis Envy from almost all other cubensis varieties is the lack of a velum (veil) separating the cap and stem of the fruiting body.

We have tested this variety using the the PSILO-Q Test kit, the first ever home-use quantitative psilocybin testing kit. Results show that this variety contains over 2% tryptamine content. By comparison, the average Psilocybe Cubensis mushroom contains between 0.6 and 0.8% tryptamine content.

Strain Origin: Unknown - Theorized to have been created by Terrence Mckenna and/or Stephen Pollock

Cap: 30+ mm in diameter, concave to slightly convex at maturity. Reddish brown maturing to golden caramel to yellow. Flesh white that readily bruises bluish green.

Stem: 125+ mm in length, yellowish white. Flesh bruising bluish green where injured. Persistent membranous annulus (ring) from partial veil that becomes dusted with purple brown spores at maturity.

Gills: Attachment adnate to adnexed. Grayish coloration in young fruit bodies becoming nearly black in maturity.

Spores: Dark purplish brown, subellipsoid on 4-spored basidia. Very light sporulation.
