The Tidal Wave variety has gained significant notoriety after a grower named "Magic Myco" submitted his isolation of Tidal Wave (Tidal Wave 2) to the "Psilocybin Cup" (a competition hosted in Oakland California in 2021). Magic Myco's Tidal Wave 2 took home first place after his sample was revealed to have a whopping 3.82% tryptamine content. For context, previous testing had placed the average cubensis mushroom at between 0.6 to 0.8% tryptamine content.

Our CALIFORNIA TIDAL WAVE genetic is descended from Magic Myco's TW2, and it has been further isolated/improved by our master mycologists. It is a slow colonizer and also a slow fruiting variety, producing blob-like fruiting bodies (very similar to enigma) that can take up to 1 month to reach maturity, however these fruits are of exceptional potency.

We have tested this variety using the the PSILO-Q Test kit, the first ever home-use quantitative psilocybin testing kit. Results show that this variety contains well over 2.4% tryptamine content (the maximum shown on the PSILO-Q test). By comparison, the average Psilocybe Cubensis mushroom contains between 0.6 and 0.8% tryptamine content.
