Trinity magic mushrooms are a hybrid between Penis Envy, Aztec God, and Tidal Wave (which is itself a hybrid between Penis Envy and B+). The creator of this variety is unknown. Trinity is a popular variety among mycologists due to the presence of Penis Envy and Tidal Wave genetics.

Its physical characteristics can be quite phallic, similar to Penis Envy, with white stems that are quite thick relative to the size of the cap. The caps range in size and range in colour from golden to light brown, to dark brown. Caps are usually a little bit darker in the center. Sporulation is moderate and spores are dark-purple black in colour. This variety sometimes produces mushrooms that lack a velum (veil) just like Penis Envy, though other times, a velum will be present, similar to most other cubensis varieties.

Its effects include intense visual stimulation/hallucination, euphoria, deep introspection on personal issues, philosophical thought, and tremendous joy.

Strain Origin: Hybrid between Penis Envy, Aztec God, and Tidal Wave

Cap: 50+ mm in diameter, convex to broadly convex at maturity. Gold to light brown to dark brown in colour. Sometimes lacking a velum (veil).

Stem: 75-125 mm in length, yellowish to white. Flesh bruising bluish green where injured. Persistent membranous annulus (ring) from partial veil that becomes dusted with purple black spores at maturity.

Gills: Attachment adnate to adnexed. Grayish coloration in young fruit bodies becoming nearly black in maturity.

Spores: Dark purplish black, subellipsoid on 4-spored basidia
