MYCO-PRO™ Spawn Medium consists of Organic Rye Grain Berries, and several other nutritional additives which promote healthy and aggressive mycelium development.

The blend of ingredients in MYCO-PRO™ Spawn Medium has been developed over years of experimentation, and contains ample nutrients/minerals, proper pH levels (when hydrated with pH 7.0 water), and exceptional water-retention capacity.

Rye grain berries are uneqivocally the best medium for spawning mushrooms, as they can hold more water than any other grain (this is important because mushroom fruiting bodies are 90% water), Insect Frass provides "dung-loving" mushroom species (like magic mushrooms) with optimal nitrogen levels and microbial content, while Calcium Sulphate balances pH and prevents clumping of the grain.

MYCO-PRO™ Spawn Medium is sold in a Type 3T 0.2 micron filter patch, autoclavable, Unicorn brand mushroom grow bag.

THIS IS NOT A PRE-STERILIZED MEDIUM.

YOU WILL HAVE TO HYDRATE AND STERILIZE THIS MEDIUM YOURSELF.

Organic, NON-FUNGICIDE, Canadian Rye Grain Berries

Insect Frass (Soldier Fly Excrement)

Calcium Sulphate (Gypsum)(CaS04)

INSTRUCTIONS

Soak MYCO-PRO™ Spawn Medium for 24hrs in cold water (this can be done in the bag)

Drain water and refill with hot water, then soak for 25 mintues.

Strain through a colander and air-dry until the exterior of the grain berry is slightly damp to the touch.

Seal bag and sterilize for 4 hours if using an Electric sterilizer, OR 2.5 hours if using a stovetop pressure cooker.

Remove from sterilizer, let cool, and inoculate within 24hrs of removal from sterilizer.
